ABSTRACT
This paper proposes a dynamic paradigm of poetic creativity by synthesizing classical literary theory with developmental psychology and the phenomenological experiences of the writer. Classical Western discourse, rooted in the foundational tension between Plato’s dismissive view of poetry as a static "copy of a copy" and Aristotle’s mimesis, assumes a static external reality. By introducing the aesthetic framework of Longinus’s "rotating mirror" of the Sublime, this study models the creative process as a bottom-up mental architecture. We demonstrate that ideas do not descend mystically from above; rather, they are built systematically when fluid, subconscious sensory images are anchored by language tags, mirroring an infant’s stabilization of the mother’s image through the primal sound "Mom". When a highly sensitive poet is struck by an external stimulus, they vibrate like a musical instrument, initiating a profound internal churning. This friction culminates in an effortless, sudden lightning flash of insight—the linguistic "cream" of the poem—around which the rest of the text, the structural "buttermilk," hangs. Finally, this paper argues that the inherent imperfections and ambiguities of human language are not a limitation, but a profound aesthetic blessing that invites the reader’s imagination to co-create the Sublime.
